As a Realtor you probably already have a fantastic offline presence. Real estate seems to come up in conversations very often, so you have many chances to talk about your business. You may also do offline advertising like newspaper ads and direct mail. Why don’t you use some of your offline efforts to increase your online presence. When you are talking to friends about real estate often the conversation is with one, two, or five other people. What if you could put the information you shared with those people online and reach hundreds or thousands of people? Also, those newspaper ads and postcards are expensive. What if you could put the information you are sharing online and avoid paying for postage and ads? If you can get the people you are having conversations with, mailing to, and targeting in your print ads to go to your website think of how much time and money you can save! I’m not saying that you shouldn’t have conversations, direct mail, and/or print ads, but if you can get those people to your website by including your website in your print materials or telling your friends you can share more information more often. These customers can tell their friends about your website and drive more traffic there, something you can’t do with the other marketing methods.
So, how do you get these people to your website? You can offer incentives to sign up for your e-newsletter like a giveaway. You can also write compelling articles on your blog and encourage people to comment and be interactive.
